Jonathan Adams is a patent agent trainee and technical consultant at Millman IP.
Jonathan has been working in the intellectual property field since 2016. Jonathan has served clients ranging from academic researchers to start-ups and multi-national companies across a diverse range of disciplines, including medical devices, medical software systems, mechanical devices and bio-technology.
Jonathan’s graduate research focused on the design of a novel cardiac implant for patients with failing Fontan. His previous research experience included work in respiratory fluid mechanics and urban canyon fluid dynamics. Jonathan also has experience developing medical devices at Sunnybrook Hospital and at other Toronto-based medical device start-ups.
Jonathan holds a B.ESc. (Mechanical Engineering) from Western University and an M.Eng (Mechanical Engineering) from the University of Toronto.
Outside of the Office
In his free time, Jonathan enjoys cooking, hiking, cycling and soccer. Jonathan also has a passion for international development and has spent several years as a member of Engineers Without Borders chapters across Ontario.
